I think - it is *Agave vera-cruz*, because :- 1. marginal prickles conspicuous, straight and with dark coloured tips. 2. in *americana* (1) leaves are constricted aove the base ( neck region) (2) prickles are strong 3. in *cantula* prickles are falcate
