*Cerastium cerastoides* is an unusual member of the genus because it normally has only three styles and a straight, six-toothed capsule, rather than a curved capsule as in most of the other species. Adopted from Flora of North America. http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=1&taxon_id=242000270
