Dr. Singh--

An interesting tree that I'm seeing here first. Thanks for the pictures.

Regards--
Ken.

Subject: [efloraofindia:42663] Picea smithiana from kashmir

Picea smithiana from Kashmir. The trees of Picea and Cedrus sans cones are
often
confused even by some botanists. Both have non flattened almost spirally
arranged leaves. They can however be easily distinguished on the basis of dwarf
shoots in Cedrus and their absence in Picea. They are also lighter coloured in
Picea. This one was photographed from Gulmarg on June 20, 2010.
