I think there may be three species distributed in Maharashtra as per FoPI:
Burmannia candelabrum
<http://flora-peninsula-indica.ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2193&cat=7>Burmannia
coelestis
Burmannia pusilla
<http://flora-peninsula-indica.ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2195&cat=7>Burmannia
wallichii
<http://flora-peninsula-indica.ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2200&cat=7>

Out of these, *Burmannia pusilla* (Miers) Thwaites
<https://efloraofindia.com/species/a---l/b/burmanniaceae/burmannia/burmannia-pusilla>
looks
different as per description in FoPI
<http://flora-peninsula-indica.ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2198&cat=7>
(Flowrs solitary
or in a cluster of three).
For balance, we have to find out the keys to arrive at the id.
