Sorry, I hadn't seen this 'til just now. 

I'm voting for Malus due to leaf serration and pink tinge of flowers. Pyrus 
typically has pure white flowers and glossy, smooth-margined leaves. 


Were there any thorns? Pyrus often has them; Malus does not.

I think attached photo is Pyrus pyrifolia or Malus pumilawhich I took Ramgarh 
near Nainital. But could you advice name? 

 
If possible could you advice varaety further ?
