Forwarding for ID
Distributed as  Medicago species- Panipat
<https://efloraofindia.com/2015/11/13/panipat-d16/>
The three suggested species are closely related and were in fact placed
under the same species Trigonella polycerata L. in FBI, which is now
considered a different species and Indian wrongly applied to Indian plants.
More so all three, formerly under Trigonella are now placed under Medicago,
M. incisa merged with M. monantha. M. monantha differs in longer fruit
(4-10 cm long) as against less than 3 cm in M. orthoceras (2-3 cm). On that
count M. monantha looks better ID.
