Although POWO now treats it as syn. of *Cotoneaster integrifolius* (Roxb.) G.Klotz <http://www.plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:722537-1> (as per non acceptance of Cotoneaster marginatus (Loudon) Schltdl. by Govaerts, R., Nic Lughadha, E., Black, N., Turner, R. & Paton, A. (2021)), I am keeping both as different from the time being.
