White flower is not the problem area Sir, I have both the variety (white and purplish) in front of our kitchen, growing wildly on the bank of our pond.
Also I have seen leaves of varied shape and size (depends upon water content of the soil, nutrients, humus content, seasonal variation etc.) in *Ipomoea aquatica*.
