Thanks Garg ji.
Local names of native plants are quite popular and are found on internet
and most of them find their names entered in dictionaries, reference books,
literature, articles.
Thus Haid, Haldoo and Hedi - names of *Aldina cordifolia* are well known.

However names of exotic or foreign trees are given names by people locally,
and may not be known beyond a region.
The exotic* Muntingia calabura* has one name given in Marathi - केवनी or
केवणी ... but this may not be a popular name.
I have not yet come across the name पांचरस or पंचरस or पंचारस for *Muntingia
calabura*
Thanks very much to Keith ji for sharing this information.

Regards.
Dinesh
