(non L.)), which has distribution in Western Himalaya as per POWO <https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:728143-1>. POWO <https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:728111-1> does not show distribution of *Potentilla fragarioides* L. <https://efloraofindia.com/2011/08/05/potentilla-fragarioides/> in the Himalayan area. BSI checklist <https://efloraindia.bsi.gov.in/eFlora/speciesList_PCL.action?resultType=genusWise&parent_Id=17668&parent_Name=potentilla> also does not mention its distribution in India.
