According to *FLORA SIMLENSIS* by Col. Sir Henry Collet, it is *Potentilla fragarioides* Linn. It is matching. According to POWO: https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:728111-1 It occurs in North India as well. There are many plants that POWO does not show as distributed in Indias, still, they exist. The error of judgment may be there on behalf of Sir Collett. We need to see it in a new light.
