They have further divided Capparis spinosa subsp. spinosa into 7 varieties. Capparis spinosa subsp. spinosa var. spinosa does not have distribution in Nepal. It gives distribution of Capparis spinosa subsp. spinosa var. canescens Cosson in Nepal.
