Nayan ji
Silene edgeworthii is distinct from S. vulgaris (formerly Silene inflata) in
that former has 5 (rarely 4) styles and fimbriate petals whereas latter
has 3 styles and deeply bilobed petals. You can clearly see three styles and
deeply lobed petals in atleast two of my flowers. In that respect your plant
looks different: style number is not clear (you may try to count by
enlarging your original photographs). I also find your having less exserted
petals, but petals don't look fimbriate. Perhaps we have to see authentic
speciments of S. edgeworthii to decide the true identity of your plant.
