Arvind-- Certainly appears to be B. purpurea-- non-overlapping petals and three stamens. I've not seen one so colored before. Thanks for posting.

Dear all, Some days ago I had posted B. sp. for the confirmation, but unfortunately shots were not too good or clear. I am posting closeups and detailed photoes of Bauhinia. it is having three stamens with bilobed stigma. All the petals are clearly white but a fine line of pink tinge is there on the middle petal which is equal to nothing. Calyx devided into three parts after the flowering and not the spoon like. Please try to elaborate this Bauhinia, Is it B.purpurea again?
