Shobha ji ... *safed* *musali* (white* musali*) is shared by at least three small herbs -- *Chlorophytum tuberosum*, *Chlorophytum borivilanum* and *Curculigo alba* ... their roots have similar medicinal values. Another name for *safed musali* in Marathi is कुळई kulai.
... *kali musali *(black *musali*) is shared by *Curculigo orchioides*, *Curculigo nigra* (not sure of latter's spelling) Regards.
