It is very difficult or impossible to identify very young  fern sporelings
from the first leaf with prothalli as they are so undeveloped at this
stage.  Normally it is not of use to collect or photograph them unless you
aso collect the mature plants to show what they become.  So what was
growing in the vicinity?   Any Pteris biaurita there, by any chance?  Not
Adiantum because tiny sporelings of that have black stipes even at the
first stage.
