Matheran, Raigad, Maharashtra :: May 22, 2023 · 12:16 PM IST :: about 800 m (2,625 feet) asl ------------------------------ The exposed roots of *Memecylon umbellatum* have adapted wonderfully and assumed a liana-like habit. I am hoping that I have not made any mistake in identifying the plant. The roots are exposed most likely due to soil loosening and sliding off.
