Dear Friends, It was a significant month in more than one way. We saw a big
comeback of our senior contributor Dinesh ji, with record 281 posts, only
next to Garg ji and he has not only continued to enrich our database with
detailed regional names of plants in local script, he has also uploaded
numerous fresh images in his unique display style. Congratulations Dinesh
ji. Garg ji and Saroj have been continuing their crusade of
streamlining nomenclature and identity of plants in which Mahadeswara ji
and Paradesi have been big help as also Taffazul ji in recent months. We
have also seen numerous uploads from Kashmir by Alka ji and Sam ji,
refreshing my memory to have relook ot these plants, a role which Shakir ji
also played. Balasubramaniam has continued contributing new uploads, so has
Sawmliana ji. Prabhat ji has also been helping in identifications. Thanks
also to external experts, through whom Garg ji has been confirming
identifications. Thanks to all other contributors also. .
