Hi, Lalithamba ji,
Taxonomy of *Pittosporum wightii *A.K.Mukh./ *Pittosporum floribundum *Wight
& Arn. seems confusing.
We have kept it at
https://efloraofindia.com/2012/08/14/pittosporum-napaulense/ (till the
other day).
However, FoPI
<http://flora-peninsula-indica.ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=7107&cat=7>
keeps
it separate as *Pittosporum floribundum* Wight & Arn. with a
footnote regarding P.napaulense (in the book link).
POWO gives *Pittosporum floribundum *Wight & Arn. as a syn. of *Pittosporum
densiflorum* Putt.
In eFloras
<http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=200010463>,
distribution is mainly given in the Himalayas for *Pittosporum napaulense* (de
Candolle) Rehder & E. H. Wilson.
In view, I have kept our South Indian observations at *Pittosporum
densiflorum* Putt.
