Many many thanks, Sam ji. നീലക്കുറിഞ്ഞി neelakurinji = *blue karvi*, and it is very popular for *Strobilanthes kunthiana* (Nees) T.Anderson ex Benth. Since *Strobilanthes ixiocephala* Benth.is not exactly blue, but is more of white with tinge of blue, I think we make use of name that means either *sky blue karvi *OR *pale blue.karvi*.
Thus if *ഇളംനീല കുറിഞ്ഞി ilamneela kurinji* is good, we will rather use it. Once again, thank you very much for help with coining name for *Strobilanthes ixiocephala* Benth. Regards.
