Arthraxon prionodes The amplexicaul leaf base and awned spikelets are characteristic of Arthraxon This is most probably Arthraxon prionodes as it is the most common found in this region. A close up focused photo of raceme and spikelet would reveal a row of spines on glumes of the sessile spikelets and if you pull out the awn, you will find that the awn arises from the basal part of lemma.
