Sir,

This might be the wild paddy, URI-DHAN or JHORA-DHAN in Bengali.

Species : *Oryza rufipogon* Griff. ?
H & H : 3 strands growing in a paddy field; about 3 feet tall; couldn't get
closer - so, leaves roughly less than 1.5 feet x less than 1 cm; extra long
awn
Date : 2/11/12, 11.06 a.m.
Place : Hooghly

Thank you & Regards,

surajit
