This is not moss but a leafy liverwort belonging to the genus Herbertus. In India the genus is represented by 10 species and Arunachal Pradesh harbours seven species. With best wishes, D.K. The moss in its environnment. The dry collected specimen. The specimen in water. One leaf under the microscope. A cross section of this leaf in the middle.
