Hallo,
I feel, stopping the tourists may not be a good solution to this problem. In
fact we are also "tourists", and we feel that the difference between us and
other tourists is that we enjoy and don't destroy the landscape whereas others
possibly destroy it.
Now, why don't we destroy and other do? We have learnt to appriciate the flora
and fauna.
Not until one starts to learn more about flora and fauna and environment, one
will appriciate that and will take pains to save it. Learning / teaching is
necessary.
I feel instead of stopping the tourists from going there, guided tours may be
of much help. forbade produces the opposite.
Also good tv documentations may help. I am afraid, not many people watch such
programms though :-(((((.
Regards
Nalini

It has always been the case. The tourism fills govt. coffer, but it also
destroys the environment of wild area-WLS and National parks and the wilderness.
