Forwarding again for Id confirmation or otherwise please.

Some earlier relevant feedback:
Perhaps Ficus subincisa as per Indian Flora message and following post by
Santhan ji.

Second report on our Forum.

Dr. Gurcharan Singh
Seems to be Ficus subincisia
Regards,

Dr. GS Goraya
Please have re-look at my plant keeping in mind slender branches. Tabish ji
has suggested it as F. sarmentosa and he may be right. Please compare with
upload by Santhan ji with thicker branches and broader leaves. That may be
F. subincisa as suggested by Rawat ji.

Tabish ji has suggested F. sarmentosa for my plant. - from Singh ji

Yes, Ficus sarmentosa
<https://efloraofindia.com/2013/06/06/ficus-sarmentosa/>- from me

I think it should be *Ficus gasparriniana* var. *laceratifolia* as per
discussions at Ficus sarmentosa Buch.
<https://groups.google.com/g/indiantreepix/c/geMCYGf3FRI>- from me

Please have a look at
https://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/Nepal%20Fig.html- from Saroj
ji

Friends it can't be *Ficus gasparriniana* var. *laceratifolia *in which
leaves are broadly obovate and toothed at top. Its new name is F. bhotanica
according to KEW database and image by Saroj ji
http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=50245&flora_id=2

I still go with F. sarmentosa

http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=50280&flora_id=2- from
Singh ji
Thanks Saroj for pointing this out. According to POWO *Ficus gasparriniana*
var. *laceratifolia *is a synonym of Ficus bhotanica
<https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:852492-1>,
which is a native of East Himalaya, not even Nepal. And Gurucharan
<https://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/Nepal%20Fig.html> ji found
his plant <https://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/Nepal%20Fig.html> in
Uttarakhand, which doesn't quite agree with the distribution of *F**icus
gasparriniana* var. *laceratifolia.*

All posts of

need to be sorted out !
Thank you.
