Here's one slide from a recently delivered lecture at the "Goa institute of Management" on Cognitive tools to troubleshoot human lives and this particular slide draws parallels around how tree cognition sits at both the top as well as bottom of the food chain that may not be really pyramidal as promoted traditionally in a structural manner but functionally it's more likely to be circular with strong circular feedback loops!
