Sonali Dahotre, a landscape architect by profession has been working over
the past few years on a book that has now finally come into being.

The book is centred on live fencing and documents a little over 250 plant
species—many of them native and with immense potential for use in
landscapes, whether in cities or forests. Through photographs and
field-based observation, it attempts to capture their ecological and
economic value. It will be a meaningful resource for architects,
developers, planners, farmers , nursery owners, foresters,
conservationists- encouraging more layered, living boundaries within
landscapes.

The book is now available, and she would be very happy if readers choose to
explore and use it.
