Dear all,

The grass species in the phtographs submitted by me in this thread belong
to *Cynodon nlemfuensis, *misidentified earlier by me as *C. barberi. *This
new identity has been confirmed by Manoj sir. A recent publication for its
documentation for India can be found at the following
link: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.japb.2026.04.003.

Thanks & regards,
