Hi, Dinesh ji, There is only one group under 'Biology' (i.e. "efloraofindia) [as there is no separate heading either for 'Botany' or 'Taxonomy' under google groups as per http://groups.google.co.in/group/indiantreepix/manage_dir?nav=16823622], with more than 1000 messages per month & only 23 groups with members more than 1000 (out of 2500 odd google groups in the world) as per: http://groups.google.co.in/groups/dir?sel=topic%3D46406.46404 And there is hardly any activity (messages per month) in these 23 groups (with members more than a 1000) as per link: http://groups.google.co.in/groups/dir?sel=topic%3D46406.46404%2Csub_count%3D1000-9999%2C&start=0 &
Yahoo groups are irrelevant here as these don't store Images in archives as Google groups do. Now I can confidentially say that ours is the most active group in Biology in the world. India has come up fast at the world stage. *And we lead the world in this area (Efloraofindia). * On 10 October 2010 09:41, J.M.
