I wonder whether if identified as C. communis, would it be considered as new
record for India. The species has been reported from India in Dictionary of
economic Products of India ( A Govt. of India Publication), Voigt
(Calcutta), Dals. & Gibs. (Bombay), Stewart (Punjab), Aitchinson (Punjab &
Sind). Agreed that FBI puts it under doubtful species, there has been
considerable research in India, obviously from plants here.
