There have been cases in the past when threads get broken because of absence
of subject line, or they get mixed up due to identical subject lines. Today
there have been two cases, one in which Pankaj ji's reply and in the second
case Tanay's reply got detached from the original mail. In both cases, there
was no subject line in the original post.
Members are requested to have a unique subject ID for there mails, to
ensure the continuity of the threads. For mails meant for ID most
appropriate ID is Date+month+year+Member initials+post number in a
particular day+ place of photography. Thus my today's first mail for ID of a
plant from Delhi would have subject ID as "041110GS1 from Delhi for ID".
I suggest such ID can also be used for already identified plants for correct
reference. So my today's plant would have appropriate subject ID as
"041110GS1 Echium vulgare from Kashmir".
