Dear Drs. Kunhikannan and Mahadeshwaraswamy, The fruits are spherical like small marbles. There were no flowers when I managed to photograph the tree. The only pic I was able to view on the net was one of Premna serratiofolia and the fruit matched but not the leaves. Thanks for the clue. Rgds, Padmini Raghavan.
