Secondly, whatever I comment, I comment on your comment and not on you
as a person. So please dont take it on yourself. Your knowledge on
Himalayan plants is too vast than mine for sure.

At that time I had checked to see if there was name as tautonyms, and
yes I found one. So I concluded.

Leontopodium leontopodium H.Karst. Deut. Fl. (Karsten) 1074. (1883 )
Interestingly they have not called it invalid!!

Now I checked for the other one which you gave and I overlooked. It is
also there:
Leontopodium leontopodinum Hand.-Mazz. Beih. Bot. Centralbl. xliv. II.
118 (1927).

Hope you can understand why I understood it wrongly.
