Yes due to digitate inflorescence it is known as Crowsfoot grass or Crab
Grass and in Hindi as Makra.

In Traditional Healing, male partners of newly wed couple are given special
Paan as gift in which many types of herbal roots are added. This Paan acts
as powerful Aphrodisiac. They are suggested to keep this Paan in mouth and
let the juice of fresh roots go inside the stomach. The Healers claim that
till this process continues "nothing" comes out from body. Makra root is one
of these roots.
