Yes it is Cyclanthera pedata. We call it 'Chhuchey Karela' due to the fruit having a pointed curved tip (Chhuchey in Nepali) in Sikkim. It is not at all bitter or sweet, but makes quite a tasty vegetable (fruits and even tender leaves)
