Thats right.
Allium ascalonicum L., Fl. Palaest.: 117 (1756) is the accepted name.

But, if
Allium cepa var. aggregatum G.Don, Mem. Wern. Nat. Hist. Soc. 6: 27 (1827)
is a synonym of
Allium cepa L., Sp. Pl.: 300 (1753)
and
Allium ascalonicum L., Fl. Palaest.: 117 (1756)
is a synonym of
Allium cepa var. aggregatum G.Don, Mem. Wern. Nat. Hist. Soc. 6: 27 (1827)
then I assume the accepted name for the plant should have been
Allium cepa L., Sp. Pl.: 300 (1753)!!!

How come both is accepted name? :(
