'Bengali' brinjal. Sorry for the confusion.
Hi Muthu, i think the word 'Seemai' in this context refers to its
origin as 'non-native'. [e.g. Seemai agathi = Senna alata; Seemail mullu =
Prosopis juliflora; Seemai athi = Ficus carica....all these are exotics].
