Flowers are in terminal globose clusters and dark pink. It is most likely *Handroanthus impetiginosus* syn.*Tabebuia impetiginosa* syn *Tabebuia avellanedae*. The flowers of *T.rosea* are pink fading to white and the flowering season is Feb. March. This tree is also flowering in Pune city at many places at present.
