Logically, it could mean "resembling leaves of *Hedysarum*" Do leaves of *Clematis hedysarifolia* resemble the leaves of *Hedysarum*(belonging to Fabaceae) which has pinnate leaves ? Is Hedysarium with an " i " a valid genus (or a name for any plant) ? Regards, Dinesh. **
