Other than the Musa X pradisiaca, there are only 2 species recorded
from South India...Musa acuminata and Musa balbisiana and there is
another one from Musaceae i.e. Ensete...
this doesnt look like Ensete...but it is difficult to be sure with
this picture... would be great if you can send some pictures of
flowers or fruits or even Seed if possible...
