Hi Dr.Phadke,
    This looks like Callicarpa tomentosa - one of the differences being that 
the leaves here have entire margins whereas in Callicarpa macrophylla the 
leaves have dentate margins.

This Callicarpa plant(A small tree) was observed in Phansad. I think it is 
Callicarpa tomentosa Syn. C.lanata acc. to BSI Flora Mah.
FOI site shows similar plant as Callicarpa macrophylla.  Are they same or 
different?
