I don't think the silk cotton of  Calotropis gigantea or C. procera are
widely used for making pillows instead the silk cotton of Bombax ceiba and
B. malabarica and off course Gossypium hirutum and other species of
Gossypium are frequently used for making piloows and cushins. Yes medicinal
values of  Calotropis gigantea or C. procera are much talked  about and
these plants are used by villagers as medicinal plats.
