I fully agree with Vijaysankar Raman Ji about the fruit being Cucumis.
I had created a lot of confusion with regards to this and Dr.
Gurcharan Singh ji had handled it with a lot of patience. The plants
are as suggested by Vijayasankar ji are indeed different. Fruit is not
from the plant shown in the pictures.
