Dalia ji there is no need to get confused. The plant earlier known as Opuntia cochelinifera L. in now correctly known as.*Nopalea* *cochenillifera *(L.) Salm-Dyck <http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/kew-2378532>
So you will find both the names on net matching: some sites following older nomenclature, some new. Several former species of Opuntia are now shifted to Nopalea. -- Dr. Gurcharan Singh Retired Associate Professor SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 Res: 932 Anand Kunj, Vikas Puri, New Delhi-110018.
