S.jambos: small tree, stem irregular, bark reddish brown - grey S. malaccense medium tree, stem monopodial, bark whitish pale brown S. jambos: leaves oblong-lanceolate 15-28 x 2-5 cm S. malaccense: leaves elliptic-oblong 16-45 x 9-20 cm S. jambos: Inflorescence white S. malaccense: Inflorescence pink S. jambos: fruits globose 3-4 mm diam. green, yellowish. S. malaccense: pear shaped, obovoid, globose, 3-8 cm diam. greenish, white, pink striped, red, dark red-blackish.
