No need to confuse with Gagea elegans, which has single leaf per plant,
scape is not long hairy, and more importantly ovary is superior.

Your plant Hypoxis aurea has more than one leaves at base, leaves and scape
are long hairy and you can see inferior ovary below the perianth.
