I am grateful to you all for helping me identify the plant. I do agree that it very closely resembles Ipomoea staphylina. I am indeed privileged to get assistance from you all. I had referred various floras including bangalore but in vain. I am grateful for this group which has provided a platform for identification. Kudos to you all.
