Acacia nilotica (L.) Delile subsp. nilotica with glabrous pods...Plant found in Senegal; French Sudan; N. Nigeria; Eastern Sudan and Nile Land but not in Indian subcontinent Acacia nilotica subsp. indica (Benth) Brenan...with tomentellous pods...found in Indian subcontinent Vachelia nilotica being another goof up by Kew Plant List, but as there is no combination under this genus for Indian plant, we can ignore it.
