However in this particular case, yet not clear whether to conclude *
vincaefolia* staying intact OR not.

of the five varieties of *Ceropegia hirsuta* ... thus *Ceropegia hirsuta*var.
*vincaefolia*.

Is it so that *Ceropegia vincaefolia *got its individual status after his
book got published ? Is it the reason for changing the epithet at a later
date to *vincifolia* ?
