*Aconogonon campanulatum* (Hook. f.) H. Hara (=*Persicaria
campanulata*(Hook. f.) Ronse Decre.) is supposed to have a branched
panicled
inflorescence.
*This is Persicaria chinensis* (L.) H. Gross which is characterized by
terminal or axillary capitate inflorescence.
